Product description
Voiders were worn during the late Middle Ages on the arms and shoulders of the gambeson. They protect the open spots in the armour. A large number of voiders has been discovered and nowadays they are exhibited in several museums.
This pair of voiders is made of flat rings riveted with wedge rivets and round, butted rings. They are interwoven 4 in 1 and have an inner diameter of 8 mm. Their length is 65 cm, they cover approx. 46 cm of the arm and weigh approx. 3,5 kg.
