Product description

A beautiful Renaissance dagger by Windlass Steelcrafts, with silver-plated hilt and including scabbard. Perfect for Renaissance reenactment and collectors of medieval and Renaissance daggers. This dagger is an exact replica of an original shown in the book European Daggers by Bashford Dean. The original is made around 1590 and was worn on a belt for close combat on the battlefield. It was also a status symbol and was worn on the historical garments for self-defense. The semi-sharp blade is made of 1055 carbon steel with a hardness of 48-52 HRC and is delivered including scabbard. When blunted, the blade is perfect for Historical European Martial Arts.
