Product description
The gamurra is an Italian dress from the 15th and early 16th centuries, featuring a fitted bodice and a wide skirt. The early version had front lacing and the sleeves were attached to the dress; a later version had lacing at the sides. After 1450, the sleeves were separate and attached to the bodice with laces or buttons. For formal occasions, an overdress was worn on top.
This gamurra is inspired by the Renaissance, featuring gold embroidery to emphasize a rich and luxurious lifestyle. The sleeves can be fully detached or fastened as desired. Note: the white underdress is sold separately, see related products. Ideal for Medici, Borgia, and other historical LARP, cosplay, and reenactment characters.
