Product description

The cingulum is a Roman belt worn by legionaries in the Roman army. The original of this cingulum dates from the second half of the 1st century AD. The apron, consisting of five leather straps, has brass pteruges and ends with a pensilia. The belt is a complete replica of an original in the Roman Museum in Mainz. The cingulum fittings, buckle, holder, pteruges, and pensilia are exact replicas of the original cingulum. The belt is made from durable 3 mm thick leather and has a suede interior to protect your tunic. A perfect accessory for Roman reenactment, living history, LARP, and cosplay.
