Product description

This helmet is made after a helmet in Prague Castle, which is said to have belonged to Saint Wenceslaus I. Wenceslaus was a Czech king from the early 10th century. It is one of the first cone-shaped helmets made in one piece, which at the time began to replace the weaker Spangenhelms. The beautiful riveted, cross-shaped nose guard is certainly striking. On the original the nose guard is richly decorated, but we offer a simple version so that you can make adjustments yourself. This helmet certainly provides good protection for warriors from the 10th century onwards. The helmet is 2 mm thick so suitable for reenactment battles, Bohurt and HEMA.
