Product description

The Templar Order was founded in 1118 to protect the sacred sites and secure the pilgrimage routes.

The order reached its peak in the 13th century. The Templar Knights saw themselves as warriors of God, upholding the honor of the Church and Christianity.

Their motto was "NON NOBIS, DOMINE, NON NOBIS, SED TUO NOMINI DA GLORIAM," meaning "Give glory, not to us, Lord, not to us, but to Your name."

The Templars were a highly organized military force and played a pivotal role in the Crusades. They were positioned at the forefront during attacks and at the rear during retreats.

Over the centuries, they helped govern the Latin Kingdom of Constantinople effectively. The Templars were exempt from paying taxes or tribute; they only answered to the Pope, owning properties throughout Europe and the Middle East.
