Product description

This Roman scutum is made after several examples of originals from the 1st century AD. Around this period shields had a rectangular shape.

This shield is 1,2 cm thick and made of several layers of wood. It is covered with undyed linen. You can paint the shield in your favorite colors, it is suitable for modern and historical paints. The back is strenghened with narrow wooden slats. The shield can be carried with a grip behind the umbo. Its height is 108 cm, its width is 88 cm (including the curve) and it weighs 7 kg.
