Product description

Drinking horns were already used in antiquity by the Greeks and Romans and during the Middle Ages drinking horns had a ritual and ceremonial function. This beautiful drinking horn is made of natural horn that has been selected for a lighter color. It is decorated with the Midgaard serpent, or Jormungandr. According to the Edda, Midgaard's serpent circles the earth and bites its own tail. As soon as he releases his tail, Ragnarok starts. You can fill this horn with no less than 0.5 liters of your favorite drink! The exterior is polished to a smooth, luxurious surface and is engraved with an organic pattern. The inside of the horn has been treated to make it suitable for drinking, as well as a wax coating for extra durability. This drinking horn is perfect for festivals, re-enactment, LARP or just a night on the couch.
