Product description

Replica of a characteristic Viking sword from the 9th and 10th centuries. This sword is classified as a Petersen Type N. Swords of this type were made between 950 and 1050 AD. They were the precursors of the Oakeshott Type X, later known as the early “knightly swords.”

The sword features a full tang construction and a screwed pommel. The blade is blunt and the tip is rounded. Both the pommel and cross-guard are made of steel. This sword is perfect for beginners and light training exercises.
