Product description

This sword is based on a late 8th–early 9th century original found between Horn and Roermond in Limburg, Netherlands. Swords like this were used by both the Franks and the Vikings at the beginning of the Viking Age. This type of sword was in use during the Viking raid on Lindisfarne in England.

Swords of this type were used throughout the Viking world. This Viking sword features a short, rounded cross-guard and is suitable for light sword fighting.
