Product description

This Viking glasses helmet from the flag period with malia is 1.6 mm thick and suitable for re-enactment battles. Helmets such as these were worn between 550 and 1066 and is a beautiful early medieval model based on an original from false -garden, Sweden. Valgarde was only 3 km from Gamla Uppsala, the old center of the Swedish kings and the pagan belief in Sweden. The helmet consists of steel plates that are attached to each other with steel strips, or spangs. The helmet offers good protection on the nose, the eyebrows, the head and neck. The Malien is unclivated and the rings have a diameter of 8 mm. The inside of the helmet is lined with cotton padding, which you can adjust to size. You can attach the helmet with the leather kinriem.

Tip: how to adjust the owner's finish and weapons
Luxury (polished) - Polishes the steel with metal polishing agent or toothpaste. With this you can even polish an article. First test on a small surface!
Handmade (mat) - Place the steel for 40 minutes to 20 hours in Cola. Check the mat regularly. Equalize the finish with black sandpaper.
Antiques (patinated) - Place the steel for a while in a damp environment (preferably outside) and let it rust. Brush the red layer rust away, the corroded top layer remains.
