Product description

The hangeroc was a type of dress that Vikings and other early medieval European cultures wore over a slip dress. Viking women wore a hangeroc and slip dress in contrasting colors. Wealthy Viking women wore colors such as red with blue or purple, these were colors that were expensive to make so could only be worn by the higher classes of society. Lower class Vikings wore colors such as brown with yellow, cream with green, and similar colors that were less expensive to make. This replica hangeroc is made of wool mix and nice and warm for the winter months. The hangeroc is open on the sides, you can tie it with the laces on the side.
