Applying Water-Based Make-up Professionally
When using professional make-up or face paint, it is important to work on a clean surface. First, scrub and cleanse your skin to prevent flaking. It is also recommended to apply a primer before applying the make-up.
All the make-up and face paints we sell are water-based. This means you need to add a little water before you can use it. You can apply the make-up with brushes or sponges, depending on the effect you want to create.
To ensure the make-up lasts longer, apply multiple layers of make-up and set each layer with a setting spray. Allow the setting spray to dry before applying the next layer of make-up.
Sometimes, water-based make-up does not adhere well to latex prosthetics. If this is the case, you can use some 99% alcohol instead of water to activate the make-up.
