Product description

This luxury sax is based on various historical originals. Vikings were skilled bone craftsmen, making combs as well as grips for knives from cattle bones. The grip of this sax is decorated in the Jellinge style. It comes with a luxurious leather scabbard featuring brass decorations.

Dragons were the mythical counterpart of snakes and appeared in the earliest myths of modern humans. As humans spread across the world, dragon mythology traveled with them. Among many Indo-European peoples, dragons play a prominent role in their mythologies. In Germanic and later Viking mythology, dragons are seen as all-destroying monsters. At the same time, they symbolize the evil beast that must be defeated by a hero. These two archetypes — the destroyer and the hero’s adversary — reinforce each other.
