Product description

This helmet is a replica of an Anglican helmet found in York (England). The helmet dates from the 8thcentury AD and is a unique find because just few helmets from this period have been found. An inscription was engraved on the brass edge: ?In the name of our lord Jesus, the holy spirit and god, and to all we say amen, Our Lord, Christ.? The original can be seen at the Jorvik Museum.

The helmet is inlayed with leather for extra wearing comfort and is delivered including riveted neck protection. It is suitable for a head with a circumference up to 61 cm and weighs 3,3 kg.

This helmet is a museum replica.
