Product description

This xiphos is a replica of an original from the 5th century BC found in Campovalano, Abruzzo (Italy). Nowadays it`s part of the collection of the British Museum of London. Swords like these were used by the Greek city-states and their colonies at the Mediterranean sea.

The xiphos has a blade made of carbon steel and a hilt made of bronze. It is 76 cm long, with a blade of 58 cm long and weighs 1 kg. The sword comes with a wooden scabbard, covered with red leather and decorated with brass ornaments in the late Greek/Etruscan art style.
