Product description

The Greek xiphos was used as a secondary weapon by Greek hoplites. This sword was very popular and was used throughout the Hellenistic world, reaching as far as Iraq, India, and Italy. The sword was short, making it suitable for use as a thrusting weapon in the tight shield formations of the phalanx.
