Product description
These leg wrappings are based on early medieval originals. Archaeology shows that leg wrappings were worn in the Germanic regions from the 2nd century AD. Leg wrappings were worn by the Romans at Hadrian's wall, the Byzantines, Franks, Alemanni, Bavarians, Wends (Slavs), Normans, Vikings and other from Central and Northern Europe. Felt, wool, linen and leather were the materials that were used the most. The fabric shows a beautiful historical herringbone motif. The leg wrappings can be fastened with the cotton ribbons which are included in the delivery. They are delivered per pair.
