Product description

This Roman pilum is made after a 3rdcentury original, as used by the early legionaries, hastati and principes. In the time of Marius the entire legion was armed with these weapons. After the pilum hit a target, the spearhead bended, so that the spear couldn?t be thrown back.

The shaft of the pilum has a shaft cap. The length of the pilum is 215 cm and it is wrapped around with cord. It weighs 2,2 kg and consists of 2 parts. It is made of wood and 9260 carbon steel.

This item cannot be shipped to countries outside the EU due to its length.
