Product description

The design of this cape is inspired by the discovery of a bog body that was still clothed and wrapped in a woolen blanket at the Skjoldehamn farm in Andøya, Norway. Although the exact age is still uncertain, recent studies suggest the 11th century. The sex of the bog body wearing the Viking Gugel is also not definitively established, though it is currently assumed to be a woman. The Viking cape was an essential garment worn by the Vikings during their expeditions and explorations. The cape was made of durable materials like wool and offered protection against the harsh elements of the Nordic countries. This cape is a great accessory for festivals, LARP, reenactment, and especially on cold and wet days, it keeps you warm.
